Back in May 2001, Ruth took part in a body painting competition with the theme “Out of Africa” at Birmingham NEC, along with some friends from South Kent College. This is her entry into the competition, a piece she called “Animal Alchemy”, on model Peter, which is a fusion of several different animals in one design.
